Stingray Point Marina:
Stingray Point Marina is a two hundred
and forty-slip facility in which boat owners lease slips on an
annual basis. It is open year round and dedicated to an
environment in which slip holders enjoy a quiet residential
atmosphere void of commercial activities. It is clean, quiet
and pleasant with attractive landscaping and picnic areas.
Slip rates range from $1,400/year to $3,600/year depending upon slip
location. Mean low water will accommodate drafts up to 6.5 ft.
Stingray provides the closest access to the Chesapeake Bay of any
mid-Bay Marina, yet provides virtually complete protection from wind
and seaway from all directions. Many of our slips provide
direct vehicle access for loading/unloading. The Marina has
ten premium covered power boat slips, and the balance are
predominately sail boats, which is the Marina’s emphasis.
Stingray Point Marina is the home of
the Stingray Harbour Yacht Club. SHYC is primarily a sailing/social
organization composed of people who enjoy the Chesapeake Bay, good
fellowship, and the fun of boating. Slip holders are invited
to join SHYC but are under no obligation to do so.
Approximately half of our slip holders are members of SHYC.
Stingray Point Marina is also the
home of the Stingray Point Lighthouse Replica, an exact, full scale
recreation of the 1858 original lighthouse. The Lighthouse
mini-museum is open to the public when the office is manned and is
available to slip holders for special occasions by appointment.
You are invited to explore our facility, its three bathhouses and
pool. A full service yacht yard is located within walking
distance on our adjacent property. Slip locations are
identified on A through G docks and locations currently available
for annual lease are identified on the attached listing. Our web
